NRA holds two national conferences each year: The National Training Conference and the Government Affairs Summit.
Join the NRA for the National Training Conference! The annual training conference is a time to connect and network with members in the field of rehabilitation, hear from nationally recognized speakers, participate in specialty programs, learn about state-of-the-art rehabilitation practices, and learn about the most current legislation affecting the rehabilitation field. The annual National Training Conference is held in different locations across the country each year and is always a good time as you reconnect and update your skills.
The NRA also hosts an annual Government Affairs Summit in Alexandria, Virginia to update members on federal legislation and policy of direct importance to the rehabilitation profession. The Summit concludes with a day of education and advocacy on Capitol Hill. The day on Capitol Hill gives NRA members the chance to speak directly with their members of Congress to bring awareness about the needs of the rehabilitation program and the people with disabilities it serves. The Government Affairs Summit gives NRA members the opportunity to be a part of shaping rehabilitation policy at the national Level—federal policy that has a direct bearing on programs at the local and state levels.
